Christie + Zach's Engagement Session in Bayville, NJ

The days are getting warmer, the sun is shining brighter, and we are in peak season for that beautiful summertime glowing golden hour!

We met up with Christie and Zach last week for their engagement session in Double Trouble State Park in Bayville, of Ocean County, New Jersey. This park is a beautiful example of the pine barrens ecosystem, and also home to the historic Double Trouble Company which functioned to sell timber, millwork products and cranberries in the 1700s. Though we were not in season for the cranberries, we still had a fantastic time on the gorgeous grounds exploring the historic buildings still standing there, and the beautiful trails.

Having their engagement session in South Jersey was perfect for Christie and Zach since they met at a concert down the Jersey shore in Wildwood, NJ, and they both love to be outdoors and hiking together. Throughout our session nothing but smiles were shared the whole time!

We got some great shots in the tall pine trees lit by the sunset in a dreamy glow that made it truly look like an enchanted forest, we were loving all the greens! The historic buildings in the park also made for some great backdrops as Zach playfully twirled Christie around and they laughed together, sharing such a love and deep connection with one another.

Our session wrapped up along some of the trails with a few more laughs and a signature Zach "Dad Joke". One thing we loved about this location is that there were so many visually different locations we could use all relatively close by each other, which made things so easy and enjoyable for all.

We are so looking forward to seeing Christie and Zach again in October for their wedding at Tomasello Winery & Banquet Hall in Hammonton, NJ, but until then we hope you guys enjoy lots of smiles and sunsets together!

Love Always,

Lisa + Jenna
