There is nothing quite like the peace and serenity you get from the feeling of being surrounded by nature. We found just that and more, amongst the trees during our dreamy engagement session with Trystin and Brandon. Our adventure took place at Mount Tammany, right near the Delaware Water Gap, in Warren County New Jersey. When we first spoke with Trystin and Brandon, and found out they were avid hikers and nature lovers, we knew we'd all get along great and were so excited to plan their session.
In our free time Jenna and I both love to hike as well, so we were super excited to be able to explore a new mountain that neither of us had been to before. Luckily Mt. Tammany is a favorite spot of Trystin and Brandon, so they knew all the best spots to take us!
We began our session just off the start of the red trail where we found a perfectly placed downed tree over a stream. Trystin and Brandon of course had no problem climbing out on the limb for us to get some really great shots. They looked completely in their element surrounded by the beautiful forest and the rushing water beneath them. We continued on for some photos across a cute little footbridge, while walking hand in hand they were just gushing happiness and love!
Trystin and Brandon kept our session filled with fun, laughs and excitement - and the best part is that they were even adventurous enough to get in the water for us! Throughout the session we found multiple rocky river spots that they willingly jumped right into. There was splashing and smiles all around - everyone had a blast. We walked a bit further into the trail to one of their favorite spots by a beautiful little waterfall. (I have to note - major props to Jenna for taking the hike like a total champ at 8months pregnant!!)
We wrapped up our session with some photos of them and their Steeler fan terrible towel which was super cute and personalized from when Brandon proposed, and a fun little champagne pop and spray.
It was easy to see that the wilderness is Trystin and Brandon's happy place, and we are so thrilled that we got to go exploring with them, and can't wait for all of the adventure that their wedding day will bring!
